2013 PAWS Volunteer NeedsAll of the following positions are directed or managed by the Executive Director (ED), the Program Director (PD) or the Director of Outreach and Communication (DOC). Although you may work independently, you won't be left alone to fend for yourself. Help and support are always available.
Foster Homes - provide in home care for cats and kittens. Training provided. PAWS supplies all food and veterinary care- you provide the love!
Adoption Counselors – Be a matchmaker by connecting families and cats and kittens in need of homes. This rewarding position requires a monthly, 4 hour commitment. Training is available and required. (works closely with the PD and two Adoption Co-Managers)
Events Volunteers – help at one or many of the PAWS events that are hosted each year. Work behind the scenes or directly with event participants. Events include, but are not limited to Spotlight on PAWS (annual dinner/auction) and WagFest (canine celebration).
