Chelsea

Chelsea is a 3 year old spayed female Pointer and Hound mix. She is in excellent health and loves to be active. She is a great companion for walks and runs. Although possessing a lot of energy, Chelsea is kennel-trained and appreciates being indoors in rainy or colder weather. She also likes to lie in front of the fireplace or cuddle in blankets in the evenings. Chelsea loves children and is especially gentle with very young children. She loves to play with other dogs and has been living with indoor cats. She is outgoing and affectionate but may take a little longer to trust men. She loves riding in the car and has been on several camping trips. Chelsea has always received regular vaccinations, heartworm testing, heartworm and flea/tick medication and is microchipped.
Gilly, the Australian Terrier

Gilly is an 8 yr old neutered male Australian Terrier. He is vaccinated and housebroken. Affectionate & friendly. Gets along fine with other dogs & children. Before his elderly owners passed away, Gilly had a lot of attention and cuddles. He has cataracts in both eyes, but can still see. Gilly is a special needs dog -- he has Cushing's Disease and diabetes and needs 2 shots a day, plus 1 pill daily. He's very cooperative, and a great dog to know.

Edgar, the Black Lab Mix

Edgar (named for the former Mariner) is a large but mellow 9 year old black lab mix (possibly Great Dane?) accustomed to living with a cat and a youngster.

He is in excellent health and very well behaved; of course he is housebroken. His favorite pastime is lying down next to you watching movies. He knows commands and loves to ride in the car.

Being very smart and sensitive, he reacts readily to body language and tone of voice. He does not like to misbehave as it shames him. He much prefers to be wonderful and almost always is.

Willis, the Golden Retriever/Shepherd Mix

Willis is an 8 year old neutered male, Golden Retriever/Shepherd mix. Housebroken, knows commands, very well behaved. Loves to go on walks on a leash.

Owners are leaving for two years to go into the Peace Corps.

Angel, the Yellow Lab Mix

Angel is a 5 or 6 year old sweet, loving, and gentle female yellow lab mix. She is very well trained and obedient and has been introduced to other dogs, strangers, cats and kids. She gets along well with other dogs but is a little scared at first. She does very well with new people and cats. She's great with kids. She loves to go for jogs, but is very understanding if she doesn't get to go out every day. Angel is up to date on all of her shots and seems to be in good health.

Kia, the Blue Heeler

Kia is a 10 year old spayed female Blue Heeler. An excellent watchdog, but also obedient and very playful. She is used to having a lot of land to run around. Her owner is elderly and downsizing.

Ellie, the Chow/Collie mix

Ellie is a one-year-old spayed female Chow/Collie mix who is up to date on her shots. She has had some training, but needs a home where people can give her the love and attention she deserves. Owners are working longer and can't spend time with her.
